Análisis del comportamiento mecánico y dinámico de mezclas asfálticas con agregado procedente de Chicamocha modificada con cemento Portland

Abstract

Mediante este proyecto de grado se va a analizar el comportamiento mecánico y dinámico de una mezcla asfáltica fabricada con agregado proveniente de la arenera Chicamocha localizada en la finca "el tamarindo" corregimiento Pescadero, vía Bucaramanga - san gil y modificada con cemento Portland. Para el desarrollo de este ensayo fue de mucha importancia caracterizar el agregado, el cemento asfáltico y el cemento hidráulico. Se realizaron tres briquetas por cada porcentaje de asfalto, los porcentajes de asfalto son del (4%, 4,5, 5, 5,5% y 6%).Una vez se encontró el porcentaje óptimo de asfalto que fue del 5,5%, se procedió a fabricar las briquetas con el porcentaje óptimo de asfalto y modificadas con cemento Portland. Los porcentajes de cemento Portland que se utilizaron para modificar las briquetas fueron del (0%, 25%, 50%, 75% y 100%). Una vez se realizaron las briquetas modificadas con cemente Portland se procedió a realizar los ensayos de estabilidad y flujo de las mezclas asfálticas, gravedad especifica Bulk, gravedad especifica máxima (Gmm) y porcentaje de vacíos con aire. Luego, se realizaron cinco briquetas con (0%, 25%, 50%, 75% y 100%) de cemento Portland en el compactador giratorio, para luego ser falladas en el equipo DTS-30 en donde se obtienen los resultados de los módulos dinámicos.

Through this project degree will analyze the mechanical and dynamic behavior of an asphalt mix made with aggregate from the Chicamocha sand located on the farm rthe Tamarindor Pescadero corregimiento, via Bucaramanga - San Gil and modified with Portland cement.
