Seguimiento al Plan de Gestión Ambiental de la Sociedad Portuaria Regional de Cartagena

Abstract

El departamento de Gestión Ambiental es el encargado de establecer e implementar acciones enfocadas a dirigir la parte ambiental de una empresa para cumplir con la normatividad ambiental nacional, el objetivo de esta práctica empresarial fue realizar seguimiento al sistema de gestión ambiental de sociedad portuaria regional de Cartagena, por medio de inspecciones ambientales diarias, generación de informes mensuales para autoridades ambientales, capacitaciones semanales a la comunidad portuaria, vigilancia para gestión de residuos peligrosos y no peligrosos, y cumplimiento en auditorías de requisitos legales ambientales y del Sistema de Gestión Ambiental. Los resultados de este seguimiento indicaron que 12 de los 16 programas del Plan de Manejo Ambiental tuvieron un 100% de cumplimiento, 2 tuvieron un cumplimiento no menor a 90% y los otros 2 no aplicaban en el período de prácticas.

The environmental management department is in charge of establishing and implementing actions in order to carry out the national environmental regulations. The mission of this internship was to keep track of the environmental management system of the enterprise "Port of Cartagena", that came to reality through daily environmental inspections, the generation of monthly records for environmental authorities, the weekly pedagogy given to the port community, surveillance/monitoring of management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste debris and also the compliance with audits of environmental legal requirements and the Environmental Management System. The results of this track indicated that 12 of the 16 programs of the Environmental Management Plan were a 100% complied, 2 had a fulfillment of not less than 90% and the other 2 did not apply in the period of the internship.
