Abstract

‘Migration from fossil fuels to renewable energy is a necessity for humankind not only because of the volaility of ! ‘storage, but for environmental damage generated by the production and use of these fuels. But it is not feasible: ‘an abrupt cut of these energy, making it necessary a transitional link between today/l\’s fossil fuels and: renewable energy of the future. In this situation natural gas provides the ability to make the transition, the great: ‘environmental benefits and versatility of use, make it ideal to supply the current demand and the generated | ‘during the transition energy. On the other hand, bioenergy or energy biomass can support the transitional tasks : of natural gas, but its use would not be penodic or seasonal, but permanent without ever reaching compete with food or forest crops, that given the technological advances in production. In the same way, there is an: ‘additonal energy source, nuclear power which is conceived as an energy of zero emissions of greenhouse: gases, but the lifecycle assessment contradict that statement.
