Augusto Cury y Peter Kreeft se encuentran para afrontar los desafíos de la educación

Abstract

La educación en Colombia ha venido presentando dificultades en la enseñanza formal. Las evidencias de esta afirmación se dan principalmente con los resultados de los bajos promedios de las pruebas saber Pisa. Por tanto, esta investigación se centra en dos aspectos importantes, el primero se estudiará la realidad contextual de Colombia frente a la educación. Al mismo tiempo, se analizará las causas y los efectos del comportamiento ético que han tenido los estudiantes (de los grados 10° y 11°) de la Escuela Normal Superior de Piedecuesta, Santander. El segundo aspecto consistirá en fortalecer y aplicar los fundamentos filosóficos de Peter Kreeft y los principios psicológicos de Augusto Cury hacia una mejor educación en la formación humana integral. Por ende, se realizará este estudio desde el método de la teoría fundamentada. Si bien, este método es teórico servirá de base para sustentar y respaldar los aportes prácticos del filósofo Kreeft y el psicólogo Cury, frente a la problemática de la educación ya mencionada. En este sentido emerge la pregunta, ¿qué relevancia tienen las reflexiones filosóficas y psicológicas de Kreeft y Cury para fortalecer la educación en Piedecuesta? Por lo tanto, esta investigación se centrará en lo que debe suceder para cambiar la situación actual en la dirección deseada.

Education in Colombia has been facing challenges in the formal education system. Evidence of this is primarily reflected in the low average scores on the PISA tests. Therefore, this study focuses on two key aspects: first, it will examine the contextual reality of education in Colombia. At the same time, it will analyze the causes and effects of the ethical behavior exhibited by students (in grades 10 and 11) at the Escuela Normal Superior de Piedecuesta in Santander. The second aspect will consist of strengthening and applying the philosophical foundations of Peter Kreeft and the psychological principles of Augusto Cury toward a better education in integral human formation. Therefore, this study will be conducted using the grounded theory method. Although this method is theoretical, it will serve as a basis to support and underpin the practical contributions of the philosopher Kreeft and the psychologist Cury regarding the aforementioned educational challenges. In this regard, the question arises: What relevance do the philosophical and psychological reflections of Kreeft and Cury have for strengthening education in Piedecuesta? Therefore, this research will focus on what must happen to change the current situation in the desired direction.
