Aplicación y evaluación de la herramienta de modelación Breeze-Iscst3 para la dispersión de los contaminantes atmosféricos emitidos por la Empresa Harinagro S.A

Abstract

Se llevó a cabo la cuantificación de los contaminantes criterio (PST, PM1O, SO2, CO y NO2) generados por la Empresa HARINAGRO S.A. ubicada en la Zona Industrial Chimitá mediante el modelo de dispersión BREEZE-ISCST3, con el fin de evaluar el impacto ambiental generado por esta empresa sobre la calidad del aire en la zona. El proyecto fue llevado a cabo en cinco etapas, dentro de las cuales se recopiló la información necesaria, se realizó la corrida del modelo y se analizaron los resultados obtenidos. Para la modelación se estableció un receptor discreto, siendo este, la estación de monitoreo de calidad del aire de la CDMB ubicada en la empresa Lubricantes TERPEL, con el fin de conocer la calidad del aire en este punto. Tras establecer este receptor se compararon los resultados obtenidos de la simulación contra los medidos por dicha estación, encontrándose que los aportes teóricos de la modelación son significativamente bajos. Así mismo, se pudo observar como los valores de concentración resultantes en ninguno de los casos sobrepasa las normas de calidad del aire establecidas (local y nacional) llegando siquiera al 1% de estas. Al realizar el cálculo del IBUCA (Índice de Calidad del Aire para Bucaramanga) el cual se encuentra determinado por la CDMB, se pudo observar que en ninguno de los casos los contaminantes presentan problemas para la salud humana en el receptor establecido, ya que todos los IBUCAS conseguidos presentaron una descripción de buenos. En cuanto al desempeño del modelo como tal se pudo confirmar lo descrito en la literatura en cuanto a la facilidad que presenta el mismo para su utilización, no obstante, se debe tener especial cuidado con los datos de entrada (especialmente la meteorología), ya que de la calidad de estos dependerán en gran medida los resultados obtenidos.

It was carried out the quantification of the polluting approach (PST, PM1O, SO2, CO and NO2) generated by the Company HARINAGRO S.A. located in the Chimitá Industrial Area by means of the BREEZE-ISCST3 dispersion model, with the purpose of evaluating the environmental impact generated by this company about the quality of the air in the area. The project was carried out in five stages, inside which the necessary information was gathered, it was carried out the race of the pattern and the obtained results were analyzed. For the modeling a discreet receiver settled down, being this, the surface station of quality of the air of the CDMB located in the Lubricant company TERPEL, with the purpose of knowing the quality of the air in this point. After establishing this receiver the obtained results of the simulation they were compared against those measured by this station, being that the theoretical contributions of the modeling are significantly low. Likewise, one could observe as the resulting concentration values in none of the cases it surpasses the norms of quality air (local and national) arriving at least to 1% of these. When carrying out the calculation of the IBUCA (Index of Quality of the Air for Bucaramanga) which is determined by the CDMB, one could observe that in none of the cases the pollutants present problems for the human health in the established receiver, since all the gotten IBUCAS presented a description of good. As for the acting of the pattern like such you could confirm that described nevertheless in the literature as for the easiness that presents the same one for their use, special care should be had with the inputs (especially the meteorology), since of the quality of these the obtained results will depend in great measure.
