Seguimiento del sistema de gestión ambiental certificado por SGS bajo la norma ISO 14001:2004 en la empresa SANTIAGO SANCHEZ VESGA (SSV) y a la implementación en la Sociedad S&M Ingenieros S.A.S

Abstract

El seguimiento al sistema de gestión ambiental certificado por SGS bajo la norma ISO 14001:2004 en la empresa Santiago Sánchez Vesga, consistió inicialmente, en conocer el funcionamiento del sistema de gestión integrado y los instrumentos que lo conforman, con el propósito de dar cumplimiento a los objetivos ambientales trazados por la empresa. La metodología empleada, tuvo como base el ciclo PHVA. Planificando las actividades de acuerdo a las necesidades de cada proyecto, Haciendo lo planeado para lograr con el objetivo de las actividades ambientales determinadas, Verificando el desarrollo de las actividades lograrán los resultados esperados y Actuando para eliminar o corregir los problemas hallados en la fase de verificación, todo lo anterior buscando una mejora en los procesos de la empresa. De lo anterior, se modificaron y elaboraron documentos necesarios y aprobados por la directora administrativa, tales como el Plan de Gestión de Residuos (PGIR), procedimiento y formato del Plan de Acción y Contingencia Ambiental (PACA), Plan de Emergencias, entre otros. Cabe resaltar, la importancia de la actualización de la matriz de identificación de requisitos legales, que se realizó cada dos meses, verificando la expedición y modificación de normatividad ambiental aplicable a las actividades de la empresa. Finalmente, se participó en las auditorías internas y externas realizadas al sistema integrado de gestión, verificando el cumplimiento de los requisitos estipulados por la empresa y los entes certificadores. Concluyendo, el sistema de gestión ambiental incluye el compromiso de mejora continua permanente, la prevención y minimización de la contaminación ambiental generada en las diferentes actividades de la empresa, estando SANTIAGO SÁNCHEZ VESGA comprometido con la protección del medio ambiente.

The follow-up to the environmental management system certified by SGS under ISO 14001:2004 in the Santiago Sanchez Vesgays company, initially consisted of know the functioning of the integrated management system and the tools that comprise it, in order to comply with the environmental goals set by the company. The methodology employed, was based in the PHVA1's cycle. Planning activities according to the needs of each project, Making planned to achieve the objective of specific environmental activities, verifying the activities will achieve the expected results and acting to remove or correct the problems found in the verification phase, all this looking for an improvement in the companyVs processes. From the above, it is modified and elaborated documents necessary and approved by the Administrative Director, such as: the waste management Plan (PGIR), procedure and format of the Plan of action and environmental contingency (PACA), Emergency Plan, among others. It should be noted, the importance of updating the matrix of identification of statutory requirements, which is carried out every two months, verifying the expedition and modification of environmental regulations applicable to the companyVs activities. Finally, its participated in the internal and external audits to integrated management system, verifying compliance with the requirements stipulated by the company and certifying entities. Concluding, the environmental management system includes the commitment to permanent improvement, prevention and minimization of environmental pollution generated in the different activities of the company, being SANTIAGO SANCHEZ VESGA committed to the protection of the environment.
