Programa estado joven: prácticas laborales en el sector público como ingeniero electrónico en la secretaría de tecnologías de la información y comunicación, ciencia e innovación – Setic

Abstract

La práctica presentada en este documento desarrolla su estudio e investigación en el campo de red de la información generada en la Secretaría de las TIC en la ciudad de Barrancabermeja, como requerimiento esencial de las instituciones públicas y la capacidad y disponibilidad de información como punto de partida para la generación de condiciones aceptables de operación de la alcaldía. En el contenido se detallan las actividades realizadas durante la ejecución de esta y el soporte brindado a la entidad en la identificación de la red de datos de manera física. El desarrollo de la práctica se dividió en tres fases o etapas de trabajo en las cuales se determinó inicialmente los aspectos básicos de la red, el servidor de telefonía, DHCP y DNS, al igual que se identificaron los equipos que hacían parte de la operación, firewall, switch de funcionamiento, router del proveedor principal, fallos de red y unidades UPS de soporte energético en las instalaciones. Como fase posterior, se realizó el monitoreo de la red de internet realizando la aplicación de comandos básicos para diagnóstico de redes, estos se realizaron de forma periódica En la última fase realizada se determinó el análisis como tal del funcionamiento de la red de la alcaldía y se generaron las recomendaciones frente a las fallas y la necesidad de realizar una restructuración del cableado y la configuración de los equipos de acuerdo a los puestos de trabajo y a los requerimientos de la institución.

The practice presented in this document develops its study and research in the field of information generated in the ICT Secretariat of the Barrancabermeja's city, as essential requirement of public institutions and the capacity and availability of information as a point of departure for the generation of acceptable conditions of operation of the mayorVs office. The content details the relevant activities for the execution of this and the support provided to the entity in the identification of the data network in a physical manner. The development of the practice was divided in three phases or stages of work, the first, in which the basic aspects of the network, the telephony, the DHCP and the DNS server were determined, and in the same phase was identified the equipments that are part in the operation, firewall, switch, router of the main supplier, network failures and power supply UPS units. As a subsequent phase, the monitoring of the internet network was performed with the application of basic commands for network diagnostics, these were performed periodically. In the last phase, the analysis of the functioning of the network of the mayorts office was made and some recommendations were generated respect to the fails and the need to restructure the wiring and the equipment according to the jobs and the requirements of the institution.
