Asistencia técnica para la realización del modelo de inventario de emisiones atmosféricas de fuentes fijas año base 2016 para el Área Metropolitana de Bucaramanga

Abstract

Un inventario de emisiones atmosféricas es una herramienta fundamental en la gestión de la calidad del aire. en varias regiones del pais como Bogotá y el Área Metropolitana del Valle de Aburrá (AMVA), ya se cuenta con este instrumento. El presente informe muestra el trabajo de realizado como practicante en el marco del convenio de asociación N° 000195 de 2017 entre el Área Metropolitana de Bucaramanga (AMB) y la Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (UPB). Se exponen entonces, el alcance del trabajo a realizar, los objetivos que buscan cumplirse, la metodología planteada para cumplir dichos objetivos y finalmente los resultados y conclusiones del proyecto. Mediante la información recolectada se encontró que, la mayoría de las empresas del AMB se encuentran asentadas en el municipio de Bucaramanga, también que el sector más representativo en la región es el de bebidas y alimentos y que el combustible más empleado es el gas natural. Finalmente se concluye que los mayores aportantes a la emisión de contaminantes de criterio son el sector de bebidas y alimentos y las industrias que emplean carbón como combustible, por lo tanto es necesario enfocar los esfuerzos al control y seguimiento de estos sectores.

An atmospheric emissions inventory is a fundamental tool in the air quality management, in various regions of the country such as Bogota and the Metropolitan Area of the Aburra Valley (MAAV), this instrument is already available. This report shows the work done as an intern in the frame of the association agreement N° 000195 of 2017 between the Metropolitan Area of Bucaramanga (MAB) and the Bolivarian Pontifical University (BPU). Then. the scope of the work to be carried out, the objectives that seek to be fulfilled, the methodology proposed to meet said objectives and finally the results and conclusions of the project are exposed. Through the information gathered it was found that, most of the companies of the MAB are settled in the municipality of Bucaramanga. also that the most representative sector in the regi6n is the food and beverages sector and that the most used fuel is natural gas. Finally it is concluded that the largest contributors to the emission of criteria pollutants are the food and beverages sector and the industries that use coal as fuel, therefore it is necessary to focus the efforts on the control and monitoring of this sectors.
