Teoría de la mente de primer orden en niños prescolares y la percepción de la calidad de la relación madre - hijo

Abstract

El objetivo de la investigación fue identificar la relación existente entre la percepción de la madre, sobre la calidad de la relación con su hijo y el planteamiento de teoría de la mente de primer orden en niños de preescolar. Para ello, se utilizó una metodología cuantitativa de corte transversal, de tipo correlacional. En el estudio participaron cuarenta niños, treinta madres, ocho abuelas y dos tías (cuidadoras primarias) de estrato uno, dos y tres del municipio de Floridablanca (Santander- Colombia). A esta muestra se le aplicaron tres instrumentos: a) Cuestionario Socio-demográfico (Minski, 2009). b) La Escala de Percepción de la Calidad de la Relación Madre- hijo. c) El Instrumento Teoría de la Mente de Primer Orden (Wellman & Liu, 2004, citado en Minski, 2009). De los resultados hallados en la investigación se pudo concluir que la diferencia de edad entre los cuatro y seis años no es algo representativo en el desarrollo de teoría de la mente del niño. Por otra parte, se logró percibir que las madres y cuidadoras primarias involucradas, mayormente son de estrato socioeconómico tres, que laboran independientemente y cuidan al niño entre once y quince horas diarias. Además se observó que la calidad de la relación madre-hijo es de tipo cercana, la cual se describe como un estilo de relación calidad, amorosa y de fácil comunicación entre madre-hijo. En cuanto a la correlación, se encontró que existe una relación positiva entre teoría de la mente y calidad de la relación, pero no significativa.

The objective of the investigation was to identify the relation that exists between the perspective of the mother, about the quality of the relation with her son and the proposition of the theory of the mind of first order on preschool children. For this, It was used a quantity methodology of a transversal cut, of co-relation kind. In the study there participate forty children, thirty mothers, eight grandmothers and two uncles (primary guards) of class one, two and three of the city of Floridablanca (Santander-Colombia). To this demonstration were applied three instruments: a) Socialdemographic quiz (Minski, 2009). b) The scale of the perception of quality of the relation Mother- Son. c) The Instrument Theory of the Mind of First Order (Wellman & Liu, 2004, cited in Minski 2009). Of the results founded on the investigation can be concluded that the difference of age between the four and six years, isn’t something representative in the development of the theory of the children mind, because the application of the instruments help to prove, that a children of four years can have a greater level on the identification on the difference between his personal wishes and illusions of the other, also he can difference a real event from an imaginary event and understand easily the real emotions or fake emotions of other person. That means, that they are not abilities developed properly on the children greater than five years-old. For other way, it can be observed that mother and primary responsible involve, are commonly of a social and economic state three, which works independently and take care of the children between eleven and fifteen daily hours. And it was observed that the quality between de relationship mother-son is of closely kind, that can be described like a warm, lovely and of easy communication relationship style between mother-son.
