Tratamiento y modificación de la mezcla asfáltica convencional 60-70 con adición de ceniza.

Abstract

La modificación de un asfalto es la aplicación de nuevas técnicas que buscan optimizar el aprovechamiento del asfalto efectivo en la pavimentación de las vías. En este caso, ésta técnica consistió en adicionar ceniza volante a una mezcla asfáltica convencional con el fin de comprobar la posibilidad de reemplazo de finos por ceniza, comprobar su resistencia a las deformaciones por factores climatológicos y del tránsito “peso vehicular”. Se buscó al modificar una mezcla asfáltica con ceniza, analizar la posibilidad de reutilizar residuos industriales de zonas petroleras. En esta monografía se evaluaron las características técnicas de estas mezclas y se compararon con mezclas convencionales. Los valores de las modificadas no distan mucho de las convencionales, convirtiéndose en una opción de considerable factibilidad técnicamente.

The asphalt’s modification is based at the application of new techniques that maximize the use of effective asphalt paving roads. In this case, the technique used it is about to add fly ash to an asphalt’s conventional mixture. This in order to test the possibility to replace the fine ash, checking its resistance to the damage caused for climatological factors and deformations transit "vehicle weight". The purpose was to find the modification of asphalt mixed with ash, make an analysis of the possibility of reusing industrial waste oil areas. In this project there were evaluated the technical characteristics of these mixtures, they were also compared to conventional mixtures. The values given of the modified are not far from the conventional ones, becoming a considerable option of a technically feasible.
