Imaginarios de identidad presentes en los habitantes de los municipios de: Barrancabermeja, Sabana de Torres y Puerto Wilches

Abstract

El propósito principal del estudio titulado “imaginarios de Identidad presentes en los habitantes de los municipios de: Barrancabermeja, Sabana de Torres y Puerto Wilches” es describir cómo los habitantes de Barrancabermeja, Sabana de Torres y Puerto Wilches perciben su municipio. Desde la comunicación y su relación con la cultura es preponderante conocer los imaginarios de municipio que llevan en sus mentes y en sus modos de vida los pobladores de cada uno de ellos, de manera que se realice un análisis sobre la significación que le atribuyen a ciertas características identitarias que los definen, de este modo no se describirá el municipio desde su dimensión físico – espacial, sino desde la percepción que tienen sus habitantes de ellos. Para realizar la investigación se eligieron los tres municipios de mayor población del Magdalena Medio Santandereano, entre los cuales se encuentran Barrancabermeja, Sabana de Torres y Puerto Wilches. El estudio parte de un enfoque metodológico cuantitativo , ya que utiliza la encuesta como método de recolección de información, permitiendo así sistematizar la información estadísticamente y volverla cuantificable para analizarla. Mediante la investigación se determinó que no existe una cultura con rasgos únicos e iguales en los tres municipios, sino una simbiosis cultural, producto del fenómeno migratorio que se ha vivido en los municipios, sin embargo, convergen aspectos culturales que los unen y los identifican como tal. De esta manera, se recomienda difundir más la cultura de los mismo, con el fin de crear identidad y transmitirla a futuras generaciones. Así mismo, gestionar proyectos de desarrollo social que contribuyan al mejoramiento de las condiciones de vida.

The main purpose of the study "imaginary identities of the inhabitants of the municipalities of Barrancabermeja, Sabana de Torres and Puerto Wilches" to describe how the inhabitants of Barrancabermeja, Sabana de Torres and Puerto Wilches perceive their municipality. To conduct the research were chosen the three most populous municipalities in Magdalena Medio Santandereano, among which are Barrancabermeja, Sabana de Torres and Puerto Wilches. The study is a quantitative methodological approach, since it uses the survey as a method of data collection, allowing systematic statistical information and make it quantifiable analysis. Since the communication and its relationship with the dominant culture is the imaginary town know they carry in their minds and their way of life the residents of each, so for an analysis of the significance they attach to certain identifying characteristics that define them, thus not describe the town from its physical dimension - space, but from the perception of the inhabitants of them. Through investigation it was determined that there is a culture with unique features and equal in the three municipalities, but a cultural symbiosis, a product of migration that has occurred in the municipalities, however, converge cultural aspects that unite them and identify them as such.
