Estudio comparativo de apropiación de las TIC entre estudiantes de décimo grado y sus padres de familia en la Institución Educativa Livio Reginaldo Fischione de la ciudad de Riohacha, La Guajira

Abstract

Actualmente se vive en el mundo globalizado de las TIC, y aunque estas han sido creadas para facilitar las labores, es evidente que las tecnologías de la información y comunicación han producido gran segregación, se ha generado una nueva forma de exclusión, los que tienen acceso y los que no; los que poseen los medios y los que no; los que saben usarlo y los que no; los que hacen un uso apropiado y los que no (Vargas, 2014, p.57) La importancia de esta investigación radica, en que se ha demostrado que el uso apropiado de las TIC ha jugado un papel clave para reducir la pobreza en países desarrollados (Gillwald, 2010, citado en Becerrill, 2018). Sin embargo, son pocas las razones que se han expuesto para explicar cuáles son las causas que han impedido que los países en vía de desarrollo puedan alcanzar los mismos resultados en cuanto a la apropiación de las TIC. El objetivo de esta investigación es comparar la apropiación de las TIC, en estudiantes de secundaria y sus padres de familia de la institución Educativa Livio Reginaldo Fischione. Se concentrará bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, pues pretende conocer la realidad teniendo en cuenta las prácticas que la población objeto de este estudio tenga. El alcance de la investigación es de tipo descriptivo, puesto que se pretende aplicar los instrumentos, para luego analizar los datos recolectados, con el fin de llegar a determinaciones en torno al tema de estudio, el tipo de diseño es no experimental, ya que no se pretende manipular la realidad actual de las variables. La población es de aproximadamente 300 estudiantes del grado décimo y la muestra calculada con un nivel de confianza de 95% está representada por 170 individuos.

The objective of this research is to compare the appropriation of TIC in secondary school students and parents at the Livio Reginaldo Fischione Educational Institution. It will be concentrated under a mixed approach, since it aims to know the reality taking into account the practices that the population object of this study has. The scope of the research is descriptive, since it is intended to apply the instruments, and then analyze the data collected, in order to arrive at determinations around the subject of study, the type of design is non-experimental, since it does not It is intended to manipulate the current reality of the variables. The population is approximately 300 tenth grade students and the sample calculated with a confidence level of 95% is represented by 170 individuals.
