Estudio para la reubicación, instalación, puesta en marcha y verificación de parámetros para el uso de la estación meteorológica de la UPB

Abstract

La UNIVERSIDAD PONTIFICIA BOLIVARIANA seccional Bucaramanga cuenta con una estación meteorológica DAVIS VANTAGE PRO 2, que inicialmente estaba ubicada en el edificio I y como necesidad del traslado de dicho instrumento se realiza este estudio, en donde se determinará la nueva ubicación y su puesta en marcha. Para este trabajo se debe recopilar información sobre estaciones meteorológicas, sus instrumentos de medida y las variables climatológicas que esta proporciona, además del manejo del software “weatherlink”, que es el que arroja los resultados de dichas medidas. El lugar elegido es la parte superior del edificio K, que es el punto construido más alto de la universidad, sin ningún obstáculo alrededor (arboles u otros edificios), proporcionando precisión y confianza a los resultados obtenidos. Dicho traslado requiere una investigación previa, un trabajo de campo y la redacción de todo el procedimiento realizado y específicamente desglosado.

The Campus Bucaramanga of the UNIVERSIDAD PONTIFICIA BOLIVARIANA has a DAVIS VANTAGE PRO 2 weather station, this unit was originally located in the building 1 but according to the need to transfer this instrument, this study is conducted, in which its new location and commissioning will be determined. For this work, information about weather stations must be compiled, measuring instruments and weather variables that this unit reports, in addition the use of the software \"WeatherLink\", which provide the results of the measures. The chosen place is the top of the K building, which is the highest point of the university, without any obstacle around (trees or other buildings), providing precision and confidence to the obtained results. The mentioned transfer requires previous research, fieldwork and writing of all the performed and specifically itemized procedure.
