Patrimonio sartorial en los museos de la ciudad de Popayán, Cauca

Abstract

El aporte temático que se hace está orientado en dos sentidos, al conocimiento incipiente del patrimonio sartorial presente en los museos de Popayán, y a la discusión sobre la moda en los museos, en donde se realiza el inventario de los objetos vestimentarios identificando, describiendo y clasificando las piezas. La clasificación interpretativa del patrimonio sartorial se presenta por medio de una propuesta de exhibición asociada a un guion curatorial; desde el diseño de vestuario expongo algunas de las posibles lecturas que se pueden hacer a partir del vestido.

The thematic contribution is oriented in two ways, to the incipient knowledge of the sartorial patrimony present in the museums of Popayán, and to the discussion about fashion in the museums, the inventory of the costume objects is made by identifying, describing and classifying the pieces. The interpretative classification of the sartorial patrimony is presented by means of an exhibition proposal associated to a curatorial script; from the costume design perspective I expose some of the possible readings that can be made from the garments.
