Abstract

Este trabajo de grado describe la revisión, verificación y mejora del Sistema Integrado de Gestión (SIG) de la empresa Copetran Ltda, con el objetivo de actualizar el SIG bajo los parámetros y requisitos de las normas ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 y OSHAS 18001:2007, para el proceso de recertificación el cual se realiza cada tres años después de haber obtenido la certificación por primera vez. Por tal razón el proyecto se desarrolla de la siguiente manera: Se evaluó el diagnóstico inicial para observar el grado de cumplimiento, luego se revisó detalladamente cada uno de los procesos para analizar y verificar las actualizaciones que se iban a ejecutar en la documentación. Se procedió a divulgar la actualización que se llevó a cabo en el SIG, posteriormente se hizo la auditoría de renovación integral por medio del ente certificador, después para los hallazgos que se encontraron se ejecutó el plan de acción donde se establecieron estrategias de mejoras para el año 2012. Por último se realiza un diagnóstico donde se refleja el estado actual de la empresa. Finalmente de esta manera se logró la recertificación y una completa actualización del SIG, reconociendo que esto son beneficios para aumentar la productividad, la competitividad y seguir marcando la diferencia en sector.

This undergraduate degree work describes the revision, verification and improvements to the integrated management system (IMS) of the company COPETRAN LTDA. This process was done with the purpose of updating the IMS under the parameters and requirements of the industry standards: ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 y OSHAS 18001:2007. The purpose is to start and execute a recertification process which is done every three years after the first time certification. For this reason, this project will be developed as follows: initial diagnostics of the degree of compliance was performed. Then, each of the processes was carefully revised in order to analyze and verify the updates found in the prior step and that needed to be done during the documentation part. The ISM update was also presented and divulgated to the public. Additionally, an audit and an integrated renovation were undertaken by the certification entity. The findings and results that were found during such process were put as strategies and areas of future development for the year of 2012 company plan. A post study with the diagnostics of the actual state of the company was also carried out. Finally, The IMS was completely updated and re-certified. Benefits regarding increased productivity, competitivity and outstanding performance compared with competitors were identified.
