Planificación del sistema de gestión ambiental ISO 14001 en la Empresa T.I.P. Ltda

Abstract

El presente trabajo hace referencia a la planificación del sistema de gestión ambiental ISO 14001 en la empresa T.I.P Ltda. Esta organización nace en el año de 1.994, como una Cooperativa de Tecnólogos e Ingenieros que trabajan en la industria del petróleo, cuyo objetivo principal es brindar servicios especializados en el ámbito de la petroquímica. Actualmente T.I.P. Ltda., es la empresa contratista más grande del Instituto Colombiano del Petróleo de Ecopetrol S.A. Está certificada por el organismo certificador S.G.S en calidad bajo la norma NTC ISO 9001:2008, y en Seguridad Industrial y Salud Ocupacional bajo la norma NTC OHSAS 18001:2007, igualmente cuenta con el Registro único de contratistas para el sector hidrocarburos (RUC) otorgado por el Consejo Colombiano de Seguridad. TIP LTDA decidió desarrollar la planificación del Sistema de Gestión Ambiental ISO 14001, a través de objetivos específicos como: Identificar los aspectos e impactos ambientales generados en los diferentes procesos y actividades que desarrolla la empresa; establecer los requisitos legales aplicables y de otra índole, determinando su aplicación según la legislación ambiental vigente colombiana; definir objetivos y metas ambientales acordes al compromiso realizado en la política ambiental de la empresa y generar programas de gestión ambiental, que garanticen el cumplimiento de la política ambiental establecida dentro de la empresa y por último establecer indicadores de gestión que permitan la medición del desempeño ambiental de la empresa.

This document makes reference to the planning of the environmental management system ISO 14001 in the company T.I.P Ltda. This organization was created in 1994 as a Cooperative of Technicians and Engineers that work in the oil industry, whose main objective is to provide specialized services in the petrochemical area. Nowadays, T.I.P. Ltda. Is the biggest contractor company in the Colombian Petroleum Institute, of Ecopetrol S.A. It is certified by the certifier body S.G.S. in quality with the norm NTC ISO 9001:2008, and in Occupational Health and Safety with the norm NTC OHSAS 18001:2007, likewise, it counts with the sole registry of contractors for the hydrocarbons industry (Registro Único de Contratistas; RUC) given by the Colombian Security Entity. TIP LTDA. decided to develop the planning of the environmental management system ISO 14001, through specific objectives such as: Identify the environmental issues generated in the several processes and activities developed by the company TIP LTDA; establish the legal requirements that apply and others, defining its application according to the current Colombian environmental law; set environmental goals and objectives in concordance to the commitment agreed in the environmental policy of the company and generate programs of environmental management, that guarantee the execution of the environmental policy previously established within the company obtaining as a result, the establishment of performance measurement tools that allow the measurement of the environmental health of the company.
