Seguimiento a la gestión ambiental de la empresa Nexans Colombia S.A.

Abstract

El Sistema de Gestión Ambiental de la empresa Nexans Colombia dentro de su proceso productivo de cableado posee un enfoque preventivo y racional dirigido a la reducción de impactos generados en el ambiente. De esta manera, el presente informe permite conocer el seguimiento ambiental realizado a las diferentes áreas del proceso, la ejecución de constantes controles ambientales por medio de inspecciones en la recolección y disposición de residuos de tipo sólido (ordinario y peligroso) y la identificación de diferentes aspectos ambientales que garanticen prácticas amigables con el ambiente durante la producción e intervención de los recursos. De igual manera, es implementado el Sistema Globalmente Armonizado al programa de riesgo químico, el cual sirvió para identificar y así crear un nuevo listado de sustancias químicas presentes en la organización junto con una actualización de la información característica de cada producto, suministrada por la respectiva hoja de seguridad. The Environmental Management System of the company Nexans Colombia within its production process of cabling has a preventive and rational approach aimed at reducing impacts generated in the environment. In this way, this report allows us to know the environmental monitoring carried out in the different areas of the process, the execution of constant environmental controls through inspections in the collection and disposal of solid waste (ordinary and dangerous) and the identification of different environmental aspects that guarantee environmentally friendly practices during the production and intervention of resources. Similarly, the Globally Harmonized System is implemented to the chemical risk program, which served to identify and thus create a new list of chemical substances present in the organization along with an update of the characteristic information of each product, provided by the respective safety sheet.
