Calidad de vida, bienestar psicológico y expectativas frente a la jubilación en un grupo de funcionarios de la U.P.B próximos al retiro laboral

Abstract

El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo identificar la calidad de vida, el bienestar psicológico y las expectativas frente a la jubilación en un grupo de funcionarios de la U.P.B, secciona) Bucaramanga próximos al retiro laboral, con un enfoque mixto y una muestra de 34 participantes en edades entre los 52 y 65 años. Se empleó dos instrumentos cuantitativos para la evaluación del constructo calidad de vida y bienestar psicológico; además de ello, una entrevista semiestructurada. En cuanto a los datos cuantitativos se evidencio alta percepción de la calidad de vida y altos niveles de bienestar psicológico, por otra parte, el análisis cualitativo se logra identificar y describir 6 categorías: 1. Representaciones, 2. Preparación ante el retiro laboral, 3. Proyección frente al retiro, 4. Cambios percibidos en la pre-jubilación, 5. Necesidades para la adaptación al retiro laboral, 6. Miedos ante la etapa que se avecina; logrando el cumplimiento de los objetivos inicialmente propuestos y tener un amplio panorama de las expectativas que tenían los funcionarios de la Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana frente a la etapa de jubilación. The objective of this work was to identify the quality of life, psychological well-being and expectations regarding retirement in a group of UPB officials, Bucaramanga section next to the labor retirement, with a mixed approach and a sample of 34 participants in ages between 52 and 65 years old. Two quantitative instruments were used for the evaluation of the construct quality of life and psychological well-being; In addition, a semi-structured interview. Regarding the quantitative data, high perception of the quality of life and high levels of psychological well-being was evidenced, on the other hand, the qualitative analysis was able to identify and describe 6 categories: 1. Representations, 2. Preparation before the labor retirement, 3 Projection versus withdrawal, 4. Changes perceived in pre-retirement, 5. Needs for adaptation to work retirement, 6. Fears before the approaching stage; attaining the fulfillment of the initially proposed objectives and having a wide panorama of the expectations that the officials of the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana had before the retirement stage
