Intervención sistémica en una madre perteneciente a una familia monoparental

Abstract

Se realizó un proceso terapéutico desde la perspectiva sistémica con una madre perteneciente a una familia monoparental, que se definía como madre desde el déficit, que afectaban sus competencias parentales llevándole a usar el maltrato físico y psicológico hacia sus hijos. Se identificó que esta situación estaba también relacionada con una historia personal y familiar de maltrato y descalificación que alimentaron un concepto de sí misma negativo, que no sólo afectaba su rol como madre sino también habían favorecido la construcción de relaciones de pareja complementarias, donde ella había sido expuesta a violencia conyugal. La intervención se orientó hacia el agenciamiento personal, la resignificación de su rol como madre y la re-estructuración de la dinámica familiar, logrando que la consultante identificará recursos, fortalezas y habilidades que le permitieron definirse desde una perspectiva positiva en su rol de madre, también fue posible un cambio en la relación con sus hijos, a partir no sólo de la reasignación de funciones de acuerdo al rol, sino también del establecimiento de límites claros y de la afirmación como una buena madre.
