Abstract

Se fabricaron bloques de concreto 15x20x40 R10 a nivel industrial, en los que se reemplazó cemento por ceniza volante hasta en un 20%, las proporciones de la mezcla de los diferentes lotes de bloques, se obtuvieron de un diseño experimental de mezcla, en el que las variables independientes fueron el agua, el cemento y la ceniza volante, y la variable respuesta la resistencia. Mediante los resultados obtenidos del diseño experimental, se optimizó el uso de ceniza como reemplazo parcial del cemento en bloques de concreto, lo cual que permitió el desarrollo de un producto competitivo, funcional y de menor costo.


The blocks 15x20x40 R10 were made at an industrial level and the cement was replaced for fly ash at 20%, the proportions of the mixture for different lots of blocks were found by an experimental mixture design were the independent variables were water, cement and fly ash, and the dependent variable was de compressible strength. By the results obtained in the experimental design, was possible to optimize the use of fly ash as a partial replacement of the cement in the concrete blocks, what made possible the production of a competitive and functional product at a lower cost.
