Cuerpo de mujer, fantasía de pecado

Abstract

El presente artículo pretende hacer una breve reconstrucción del imaginario medieval en torno al cuerpo femenino, argumentando que este, para los hombres de la época, era una perversión en sí mismo. Se hará un recorrido por las principales ideas en torno a la concepción de la mujer como la representación física del pecado y puntualizará en la influencia de la Iglesia católica sobre dicho imaginario. The following paper aims to expose the way in which the medieval imaginary regarded the body of women, arguing that at that time men considered it to be evil itself. The paper exposes the main ideas surrounding the conception of woman as the physical representation of sin and it emphasizes in the influence exerted by the Catholic Church in such an imaginary.
