Resumen
The Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana Bucaramanga Sectional as a result of the strategic alliance between the School of Industrial Engineering and University Welfare Department in its Service Area graduate, implemented a follow-up study of graduates as a way to assess the relevance of the portfolio of programs academic college currently offers. This study aims to analyze the variables and mechanisms that affect the employability and the level of professional performance and employment of graduates by the UPB Bucaramanga. The analysis of the experience of graduates from the start data collection using the tools of the Labour Centre of Education, for graduates of specialized cohorts graduated in 2009 who were administered the instrument time grade. The application of this instrument allows to recognize the different aspects related to the profile of graduates from various perspectives, their work situation and conditions of the activities they perform, the level of satisfaction with the level of their skills and resources that the university made available and a general evaluation of the training. The study is descriptive and a quantitative approach, it will be an inductive process, which will explore and describe, in order to obtain the perspective and views of the newly graduated specialists, through the application of the instrument designed.
