La justicia será siempre la forma básica del amor

Abstract

En la actualidad, el hombre y la mujer han alcanzado grandes descubrimientos frente al misterio de la realidad (viajes espaciales, comunicaciones, Inteligencia Artificial, etc.), siguen siendo incomprensibles las acciones injustas, pero más aún, las acciones de una guerra justa. El propósito de esta investigación tiene dos aspectos importantes. El primero se analizará la realidad contextual del mundo y de Colombia frente a la guerra. El segundo aspecto consistirá en reforzar los principios y valores de la filosofía de Josef Pieper y la teología de Benedicto Ashley para lograr la unidad en los pueblos. El enfoque implementado para esta investigación es cualitativo y el método es la Teoría Fundamentada. En esta parte del proyecto, si bien es teórico, servirá de base para sustentar, respaldar y reforzar las investigaciones filosóficas y teológicas de ambos pensadores frente al contexto de la guerra, y el deseo de obtener la paz. En este sentido cabe preguntarse 1) ¿Qué relevancia tienen las reflexiones filosóficas y teológicas de Pieper y Ashley para alcanzar la armonía entre las naciones?, 2) ¿Qué se entiende por una guerra justa? Cada una de estas preguntas se estudiará para poder comprender la realidad que se está viviendo en pleno siglo veintiuno (XXI). Por otro lado, esta investigación contribuirá a acciones prácticas (principios éticos y morales) que permitan la convivencia y la armonía entre naciones.

Today, men and women have made great discoveries regarding the mystery of reality (space travel, communications, artificial intelligence, etc.), yet unjust actions remain incomprehensible—and even more so, the actions of a just war. The purpose of this research has two important aspects. The first is to analyze the contextual reality of the world and of Colombia in relation to war. The second aspect will consist of reinforcing the principles and values of Josef Pieper’s philosophy and Benedict Ashley’s theology to achieve unity among peoples. The approach implemented for this research is qualitative, and the method is Grounded Theory. In this part of the project, although theoretical, it will serve as a foundation to support, underpin, and reinforce the philosophical and theological investigations of both thinkers in the context of war and the desire to achieve peace. In this regard, it is worth asking: 1) What relevance do the philosophical and theological reflections of Pieper and Ashley have for achieving harmony among nations? 2) What is meant by a just war? Each of these questions will be examined to better understand the reality we are experiencing in the twenty-first century (21st century). Furthermore, this research will contribute to practical actions (ethical and moral principles) that foster coexistence and harmony among nations.
