Tutoriales como mecanismo de apoyo en el proceso educativo y formativo del diseño de pavimentos con software libres

Abstract

El diseño de pavimentos es una de las arreas de aprendizaje abordadas durante el pregrado de los estudiantes de ingenieria civil. Utilizar los software que ofrece el mercado en el diseño de pavimentos, optimiza los procesos y reduce el porcentaje de error en procedimientos aritméticos ejecutados durante el proceso de diseño de un pavimento vial. El alcance del trabajo de grado parte del conocimiento previamente adquiridos por parte de los estudiantes de ingenieria civil, en el diseño de pavimentos rigidos y flexibles; partiendo del contexto presentado, se busca fomentar el uso de software de uso libre en el diseño de pavimentos rigidos y flexibles por parte de los estudiantes de la facultad de ingenieria civil de la Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana. El estudio realizado presenta una metodologia que permita dar acompañamiento a los estudiantes en el manejo de los software seleccionados y fomentar el uso de herramientas tecnológicas que generen aptitudes distintivas en los profesionales de ingenieria civil de la Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana. El alcance del estudio finaliza evaluando la aceptación de las metodologias presentadas.

Pavement design is one of the learning areas addressed during undergraduate students from civil Engineering. Use the software offered by the market in the design of pavements, optimizes the processes and reduces the percentage of error in arithmetic procedures performed during the pavement design process vial. The scope of the degree work is based on the knowledge previously acquired by the students of civil engineering, in the design of rigid and flexible pavements; starting from the presented context, it seeks to promote the use of free software in the design of rigid and flexible pavements by the students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana. The study carried out presents a methodology that allows to accompany the students in the management of the selected software and encourage the use of technological tools that generate distinctive skills in civil engineering professionals at the University Pontifical Bolivariana. The scope of the study ends by evaluating the acceptance of the methodologies presented.
