Planificación del sistema de gestión ambiental para la planta industrial El Diamante Distraves S.A.S

Abstract

En el presente documento se elabora la Planificación del Sistema de Gestión Ambiental, para la Planta Industrial el Diamante, Distraves S.A.S., la cual se encarga de suministrar alimentos cárnicos que satisfagan los requisitos y expectativas de los clientes. Por esta razón se ve comprometida en trabajar en la mejora continua de sus procesos y por lo tanto planea obtener a futuro la certificación del Sistema de Gestión Ambiental basado en la norma ISO 14001. El proceso se inició con la elaboración de una lista de chequeo (ISO 14001 de la GTC 93) para conocer las necesidades y fortalezas de la empresa. A partir de los resultados encontrados se determinó necesario iniciar con la formulación de procedimientos para la elaboración de la matriz legal y ambiental para la empresa. Teniendo en cuenta los procedimientos establecidos se elaboró y valoro la matriz de aspectos legales, se realizaron los recorridos en las diferentes áreas de trabajo, con los cuales se recolecto la información de cada una de ellas, determinando sus consumos, materias primas que utilizan y los residuos que generan, y según estos resultados se identificaron sus aspectos e impactos ambientales y por medio de la metodología EPM se realizó la valoración de cada uno de ellos. A partir de los impactos ambientales encontrados se formularon los programas ambientales para los impactos más significativos, especificando objetivos, metas e indicadores, y se estableció la política ambiental para la empresa con la cual se reafirma su compromiso con el desarrollo de estrategias que permitan mejorar su desempeño ambiental.

This document contains the planification of the environmental management system, for the Diamante industrial plant, Distraves S.A.S., this industry is the responsible of supply the meat products that satisfy the requirements and expectation of the clients. For this reason, it’s committed to the continues improvement of the internal processes and therefore Distraves S.A.S, is projecting to get the Environmental Management System Certification based in the ISO 14001. The process initiated with the elaboration of a checklist (ISO 14001 of the GTC 93), this allowed the company to know their needs and strengths. Based on the obtained results it was determined necessary started with the formulation of procedures for the elaboration of the legal an environmental matrix for the company. According with the established procedures was elaborated and assessed the legal aspects matrix, routes were conducted in different areas of work, thereby it was collected information specific of each one of this, the determining its consumptions, raw material used and waste generated, in accordance with this results are identified the environmental aspects and impacts, using the EPM methodology for the assessment of each item. Based on the found environmental impacts, were formulated the environmental programs for the most significant impacts. In this programs were specified, the objectives, goals and indicators, and was established the environmental politic for the company. With this policy Distraves S.A.S. reaffirms the commitment with the developing of strategies that allow the improvement of the environmental performance.
