Diseño, documentación e implementación del sistema de gestión de calidad NTC GP 1000:2004 para el Hospital Universitario de Santander

Abstract

En el desarrollo del presente proyecto de grado aplicado, se muestra el paso a paso de cada una de las actividades realizadas por sus autoras para el logro del diseño, documentación e implementación del Sistema de Gestión de Calidad NTC GP1000:2004 para el Hospital Universitario de Santander. Las actividades desarrolladas para cumplir con los objetivos del proyecto fueron las siguientes: 1. Diagnóstico inicial: En esta actividad se evaluó el nivel de cumplimiento de cada uno de los requisitos obligatorios establecidos por la NTC GP 1000:2004 en el Hospital Universitario De Santander, así mismo se logró consolidar información acerca del estado de la documentación de los 29 procesos que se llevan a cabo en la E.S.E HUS para su funcionamiento y cumplimiento con su misión institucional. 2. Planificación estratégica de la calidad: en esta etapa se diseñaron las actividades a desarrollar, definidas por la alta dirección para satisfacer las necesidades y especificaciones del cliente y de la entidad como tal. Estas necesidades fueron identificadas en los hallazgos del diagnóstico inicial del sistema de gestión de calidad en la E.S.E HUS 3. Documentación de los procesos: En esta etapa se realizó una revisión detallada de cada uno los procesos y así mismo documentar todas las actividades que en cada uno de ellos se llevan a cabo. Para cada proceso es necesario definir su respectiva caracterización, procedimientos, instructivos, manuales, registros, guías y ficha de indicadores. 4. Implementación del Sistema de Gestión de la calidad regido bajo la NTC GP 1000:2004: El propósito de esta etapa es poner en marcha todos los lineamientos necesarios para garantizar la eficiencia, eficacia y efectividad del Sistema De Gestión De La Calidad en la E.S.E HUS 5. Diagnóstico Final: Esta etapa permite conocer el nivel de cumplimiento final del los requisitos exigidos por la NTC GP1000:2004, donde se asegura que en la E.S.E HUS efectivamente se establecen, implementan y mantienen los procesos necesarios para la implementación del sistema de gestión de la calidad. Con los hallazgos de este ultimo informe, también se podrán identificar posibles nuevas necesidades a atender y así promover el mejoramiento continuo para el excelente funcionamiento de la entidad. In the development of this graduation project, each of the activities made by the authors are showed step by step in order to achieve the design, documentation and implementation of the quality management system NTC GP1000:2004 for the Hospital University of Santander The activities developed to fulfill the objectives of the project were the following: 1. Initial diagnosis: in this activity it was evaluated the level of achievement of each obligatory requirement established for the NTC GP 1000:2004 in the Hospital University De Santander. Also, It was possible to collect data about the status of the documentation of the 29 processes that are carried out in E.S.E HUS for it functioning and performance with its institutional mission. 2. Strategic Quality Planning: in this stage it was designed the activities to develop, defined by the highest direction to satisfy the customer and entity’s needs and specifications. These needs were identified in the initial diagnosis of the quality management system in the E.S.E HUS. 3. Documentation of the processes: in this stage it was carried out a very detail revision of each process and in this way to document all the activities carried out in each one. For each process is necessary to define its respective characterization, procedures, instructions, manuals, records, guides and indicator formats. 4. Implementation of the quality management system for the NTC GP 1000:2004: the purpose of this stage is to run the guidelines needed to guarantee the efficiency, efficacy and effectiveness of the quality management system in the E.S.E HUS. 5. Final diagnosis: this stage let to know level of final achievement of the requirements demanded for the NTC GP1000:2004, where it is assured that in the E.S.E HUS is effectively established, implemented and maintained the necessary processes for the implementation of the quality management system. With the findings of this last report, also it will be identified possible new needs to deal with and in this way to promote the continuous improvement for the excellent functioning of the entity.
