INCIDENCIAS DE LA HUMEDAD EN LAS VIVIENDAS DE LA CIUDAD DE MONTERIA Y PRINCIPIOS DE PROTECCIÓN

Abstract

El objetivo principal de esta investigación fue recolectar información con base en antecedentes investigativos relacionados con la incidencia de humedad, para establecer tipos de humedades, causas, consecuencias, indicativos de humedad, y también medidas que generan una solución para los diferentes tipos de humedades. La humedad en las viviendas es un problema que se presenta a lo largo de todo el mundo y la incidencia de esta genera múltiples afectaciones a las viviendas y a los usuarios, sin embargo, no siempre se tienen en cuenta hidrófugos o sistemas de impermeabilización en la etapa de construcción. Considerando lo anterior, se analizaron las condiciones de las viviendas de la ciudad de Montería y también la influencia que tiene para la humedad los elementos climáticos de la ciudad, adquiridos del Instituto de Hidrología, Meteorología y Estudios Ambientales (IDEAM). Dado que la falta de protección que impida el paso del agua a través de los elementos estructurales, conlleva a problemas de salubridad, servicio de la estructura y hace parte de los problemas más comunes en el deterioro de las viviendas de la ciudad de Montería. Se mencionaron normas técnicas colombianas que deben ser aplicadas en construcción para el correcto funcionamiento de una estructura, se plantearon medidas correctivas para aquellas construcciones que actualmente se ven afectadas por la humedad, y también se plantearon medidas preventivas que se deben tener en cuenta en la construcción de futuras viviendas para evitar problemas de humedad.

ABSTRACT . The main objective of this research was to collect information based on investigative antecedents related to the incidence of humidity, to establish types of humidity, causes, consequences, indicative of humidity, and also measures that generate a solution for different types of humidity. Moisture in homes is a problem that occurs throughout the world and its incidence generates multiple effects on homes and users, however, waterproofing or waterproofing systems are not always taken into account in the stage of construction. Considering the above, the conditions of the houses in the city of Montería were analyzed, as well as the influence that the climatic elements of the city have on humidity, acquired from the Institute of Hydrology, Meteorology and Environmental Studies (IDEAM). Given that the lack of protection that prevents the passage of water through the structural elements, leads to health problems, service of the structure and is part of the most common problems in the deterioration of the houses in the city of Montería. Colombian technical standards that must be applied in construction for the proper functioning of a structure were mentioned, corrective measures were proposed for those constructions that are currently affected by humidity, and preventive measures that must be taken into account in construction were also proposed of future homes in order to avoid humidity problems.
