Optimización de procesos para reducción de costos en el área de logística, compras e inventarios de la cadena hotelera On Vacation

Abstract

Todas las empresas buscan la reducción de gastos y costos en su proceso internos operacionales para así mismo generar ganancias, productos competitivos en relación beneficio-precio-calidad que presume un producto. En el caso del sector turístico, específicamente de alojamiento en hoteles, los procesos de compras y de movimientos de estas mercancías al interior de la compañía y su llegada a los destinos , deben ser mínimos de tiempo para garantizar la calidad e inocuidad, ya que en estas compras también van incluidas alimentos y bebidas, así mismo el producto puede estar en los destinos en tiempos óptimos, de tal manera que el cliente final pueda tener una calidad y experiencia de viaje memorable. De esta forma la Compañía On Vacation, ha migrado a sistemas eficientes para las distintas áreas que competen a la compañía e integrarlo en uno solo, Zeus, el cual tiene subdivisiones eficientes para unificar todo el proceso de compra, posterior paso a contabilidad y por último la llegada de facturas a tesorería para generar el pago. Toda esta migración organizó los procesos de las áreas, sin embargo el siguiente paso para una mejora es realizar la unificación u organización de procesos en el área de compras, logística e inventarios, y asi percibir las fallas actuales en los procesos, reformarlas y posteriormente una optimización lo cual se traduce en reducción de costos.
