Cambios y transformaciones en el rol paterno dentro del contexto familiar actual

Abstract

La presente monografía presenta una descripción de la estructura y la dinámica familiar, desde el enfoque sistémico, entorno a la figura paterna y el rol que ésta ha desempeñado tanto históricamente, como en la actualidad en el contexto familiar. El estudio es de tipo descriptivo con un enfoque cualitativo, basado en la revisión documental con fuentes primarias de estudios científicos y publicaciones literarias como fundamento teórico y conceptual de los resultados obtenidos, de los cuales se destacan los notables cambios sociales sobre la concepción de la familia y de la figura paterna, pasando de ser el representante de la autoridad moral, a proveedor material y en tiempos modernos un elemento afectivo determinante en el desarrollo de los hijos, pasando del sistema rígido parental a una diversidad de roles complementarios entre padre y madre e incluso a estructuras monoparentales; aspectos que han podido presentar un conflicto con la masculinidad pero que se han podido adaptar socialmente gracias a la flexibilidad cultural y la menor presión que esta ejerce sobre los individuos.

This monograph presents a description of the family structure and dynamics, from the systemic approach, around the father figure and the role that this has historically and currently played in the family context. The study is descriptive in nature with a qualitative approach, based on the documentary review with primary sources of scientific studies and literary publications as a theoretical and conceptual foundation of the results obtained, of which the notable social changes on the conception of the family stand out. and from the father figure, going from being the representative of moral authority, to material provider and in modern times a determining affective element in the development of children, going from the rigid parental system to a diversity of complementary roles between father and mother and even to single parent structures; aspects that have been able to present a conflict with masculinity but have been able to adapt socially thanks to cultural flexibility and the less pressure it exerts on individuals.
