Oriente vs. Occidente. Un acercamiento al pensamiento filosófico oriental

Abstract

Un acercamiento a las ideas del pensamiento oriental constituye un esfuerzo analítico, dialéctico y comparativo que, además de poner un reto a nuestra estructura mental, se convierte en un campo abierto de infinitas posibilidades donde los diferentes interrogantes y métodos para la búsqueda de la verdad se hacen tan válidos como los planteados por otras culturas, como la griega. Es así que este ejercicio interpretativo busca plantear nuevas perspectivas en torno a los orígenes tanto geográficos como ideológicos del pensamiento filosófico oriental y occidental.

An approach to the ideas of eastern thought requires an analytical, dialectical and comparative effort that, not only implies a challenge to our mental structure, but becomes a field opened to endless possibilities where the different questions and methods to find the truth become as valid as those proposed by other cultures, such as the Greek Culture. Thus, the aim of this interpretative exercise is to propose new perspectives about the origins, either geographical or ideological, of eastern and western philosophical thought.
