Reflexiones sobre cómo construir desde el patrimonio

Abstract

En este artículo se reflexiona acerca de algunos caminos que transitamos al investigar, gestionar o simplemente disfrutar del patrimonio cultural, desde sus diferentes categorías y contextos. Enfoques renovadores del campo, tales como los de las ciencias sociales, la antropología o las industrias culturales, nos permiten reinterpretar los lugares desde donde se constituyen ciertas nociones en desmedro de otras, así como plantear algunas preocupaciones contemporáneas respecto a la identidad, a la memoria y al olvido. Desde el ámbito de la investigación y la gestión, surgen las preguntas: ¿A cuáles sectores de poder respondemos al llevar al “digno lugar” del patrimonio a ciertos vestigios del pasado y a otros no? ¿Nos atrevemos a mirarnos, entendiendo al patrimonio como fuente de construcción de identidades y memorias compartidas? Estas preguntas y otras nacen al interior del Equipo de Investigación del Núcleo de Estudios y Documentación de la Imagen del Instituto de Investigaciones Geohistóricas, como producto de investigaciones propias llevadas a cabo durante el último lustro, referidas tanto a itinerarios culturales como a colecciones y archivos fotográficos en la provincia de Corrientes, Argentina.

This article reflects. From different categorías and context, on some paths we walk in when reseatching, managing, or merely enjoying cultural patrimony. Reviving field approaches, such as those of social studies, anthropology or cultural industries, allow us to teinterpret the places where certain notions are built by deteriorating others, a well as to pose some contemoarary concerns regarding identity, memory and obscurity. From the point of view of research and management, the following queestions emerge: which are the power sectors we respond to whwn labeling some remains from the past as “patrimony woethy” and not some others? Do we dare to look at ourselves conceiving “patrimony” as a source of identity construction and shared memories? These questions and others are posed by the equipo de investigación del núcleo de estudios y documentación del la imagen del Instituto de Investigaciones geohistóricas, as a product of research undertaken by the group during the last fifteen years and referred to cultural routes and photographic archives and collections of the province of Corrientes, Argentina.
