Análisis epidemiológico de las problemáticas que se presentan en el Centro de Proyección Social (CPS)

Abstract

El presente informe muestra los resultados obtenidos en el periodo de pasantía realizada en el Centro de Proyección Social (CPS) de la ciudad de Piedecuesta durante seis meses del año 2012. El objetivo de trabajo fundamental se basó en el análisis epidemiológico de las problemáticas presentadas en el Centro de Proyección Social, tomando en cuenta la información obtenida de los 129 casos que se atendieron. El número total de personas que consultó los servicios de psicología fue de 132, con edades entre los dos (2) y los cincuenta y seis (56) años y con una edad promedio de quince (15) años. Se presentaron tanto hombres como mujeres, en proporciones muy similares, los cuales en su mayoría provenían de diversos colegios públicos del municipio de Piedecuesta, en algunos casos con remisión directa de la institución. Basados en el objetivo del proyecto se encontró que los problemas académicos y la conducta agresiva en el hogar y el colegio serían las problemáticas más consultadas en los servicios de psicología del CPS, coincidiendo en su mayoría estas con el motivo de consulta por el cual llega el paciente. En todo el periodo se atendieron 427 sesiones, con un número promedio de 3,3 por paciente. Sólo 31 de los 129 casos pudieron cerrar proceso por éxito terapéutico, el restante se retiró voluntariamente o por las condiciones del tiempo hubo que remitirlos a otro Psicólogo para continuar el proceso y en una gran proporción hubo inasistencia a las citas programadas. La cifra significativa de población que asiste al servicio de Psicología del CPS amerita que se planteen cambios en el número de profesionales de la rama que atiendan consulta, para así poder brindar a los consultantes una intervención más efectiva de sus problemáticas para mantener o acrecentar el prestigio que tiene la institución en el municipio.

His report shows the results obtained in the period of internship at the Center on Social Projection (CPS) Piedecuesta city for six months of 2012. The objective of fundamental work was based on epidemiological analysis of the issues presented in the Social Outreach Center, taking into account the information obtained from the 129 cases that were dealt. The total number of people consulted psychology services was 132, aged two (2) and fifty-six (56) years with an average age of fifteen (15) years. There were both men and women, in similar proportions, which mostly came from various public schools in the municipality of Piedecuesta, in some cases with direct reference to the institution. Based on the objective of the project was found to academic problems and aggressive behavior at home and school would be consulted over issues in psychology CPS services, mostly coinciding with the occasion of this consultation which comes patient.
