Prevalencia de ciberbullying en estudiantes del Instituto Nacional de Enseñanza Media y Diversificada Custodio García Rovira Sede A de Bucaramanga

Abstract

Este proyecto tuvo como objetivo determinar la prevalencia de ciberbullying en el Instituto Nacional de Enseñanza Media y Diversificada INEM Custodio García Rovira, sede A de Bucaramanga, mediante la realización de una investigación cuantitativa no experimental, de tipo transeccional descriptivo, en la que participaron 348 estudiantes con edades comprendidas entre los 10 y los 17 años, pertenecientes a los cursos 6° a 11°. Para el desarrollo de ésta se implementó un cuestionario sociodemográfico diseñado por la evaluadora y el cuestionario cyberbullying ICIB. En los resultados se evidenció que el 49.7% de los estudiantes posee el rol de ciberobservador, el 14% reportó ser cibervictima y el 10.9% ciberagresor. Asimismo, el grado con mayor número de agresores fue 9° con el 3.4% y el grado con mayor cantidad de víctimas y observadores fue 10° con porcentajes respectivos de 3.7% y 9.2%. Con relación al estrato socioeconómico, se evidenció que la mayoría de los agresores pertenecen al estrato 3 con un porcentaje del 4.2% y la mayoría de las víctimas y los observadores al estrato 2 con porcentajes del 5.7% y 19.5%, respectivamente. En cuanto al género, aunque no se encontraron diferencias estadísticamente significativas, las puntuaciones más altas en las tres categorías fueron para el femenino, logrando el cumplimento de los objetivos propuestos inicialmente y brindando cifras con relación al ciberbullying y las características de sus actores en la institución educativa.

The purpose of this project was to determine the prevalence of cyberbullying at the Institute Nacional de Ensenanza Media y Diversificada INEM Custodio Garcia Rovira, headquarters A of Bucaramanga, by conducting a non-experimental quantitative research of a descriptive transectional type, in which 348 students participated. with ages between 10 and 17 years old, belonging to 6th to 11th grades. For the development of this, a sociodemographic questionnaire designed by the evaluator and the ICIB cyberbullying questionnaire was implemented. The results show that 49.7% of students have the role of cyber observer, 14% reported being a cyber victim and 10.9% cyber aggressor. Likewise, the grade with the highest number of aggressors was 9th with 3.4% and the grade with the highest number of victims and observers was 10th with 3.7% and 9.2%. Regarding the socioeconomic stratum, it was evident that most of the aggressors belonged to stratum 3 with a percentage of 4.2% and most of the victims and observers to stratum 2 with percentages of 5.7% and 19.5%, respectively. Regarding gender although no statistically significant differences were found, the highest scores in the three categories were for the female; achieve the fulfillment of the proposed objectives and provide figures in relation to cyberbullying and the characteristics of its actors in the educational institution.
