Evaluación e intervención clínica en trastorno psicótico inducido por consumo de cannabis

Abstract

Se presenta el abordaje de la intervención clínica de un paciente con trastorno psicótico inducido por el consumo grave de cannabis, perteneciente al Tratamiento de Rehabilitación de Adicciones — TRAD, de la clínica San Pablo, en la ciudad de Bucaramanga — Santander. la intervención se desarrolló por medio de evaluación clínica incluyendo la aplicación de pruebas con el propósito de identificar historia de vida y la relación con la problemática, así mismo se inició el proceso de intervención con el propósito de reforzar habilidades de afrontamiento que le permitan al consultante sustituir la conducta de consumo y una mayor adaptación a su entorno. Este proceso se desarrolló de manera voluntaria por parte del consultante. La evaluación, diagnóstico e intervención se desarrolló desde el enfoque cognitivo conductual. Los resultados mostraron una disminución de las ideas psicóticas y el uso de estrategias de afrontamiento en la relación consigo mismo y con los demás. Se recomienda fomentar la práctica de pautas de crianza asertivas como factor protector en este tipo de problemáticas.

We present the approach of the clinical intervention of a patient with psychotic disorder induced by the serious consumption of cannabis. belonging to the Addiction Rehabilitation Treatment - of the San Pablo Clinic, in the city of Bucaramanga, Santander. The intervention was developed through clinical evaluation including the application of tests with the purpose of identifying Me history and the relationship with the problem, likewise the intervention process was initiated with the purpose of reinforcing coping skills that allow the consultant to substitute the behavior of consumption and greater adaptation to their environment. This process was developed voluntarily by the consultant. The evaluation, diagnosis and intervention was developed from the cognitive behavioral approach. The results showed a decease in psychotic ideas and the use of coping strategies in the relationship with oneself and with others. It is recommended to encourage the practice of assertive parenting patterns as a protective factor in this type of problem.
