Estudio de la oferta y demanda de formación técnica profesional y tecnológica en Bucaramanga y su área de influencia

Abstract

Esta investigación presenta los resultados más significativos obtenidos en un estudio comparativo de la oferta de programas de formación técnica profesional y tecnológica de 10 Instituciones de Educación Superior, dentro de las cuales se incluye el Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje SENA, y la demanda de talento humano del sector productivo según 18 Asociaciones Gremiales y los Observatorios Laborales del IMEBÚ y ADEL Metropolitana, existente en Bucaramanga y su Área de Influencia a 31 de Diciembre de 2007, con el fin de evaluar la pertinencia de los programas ofrecidos y proponer acciones encaminadas a la articulación del sector educativo y productivo. Los resultados obtenidos a través del estudio reflejan la necesidad de talento humano con formación técnica profesional y tecnológica en Bucaramanga y su Área de Influencia, percibiéndose un buen panorama laboral para quienes egresan de estos niveles de formación. Sin embargo la falta de conocimiento de la demanda real del sector empresarial por parte de las instituciones de educación encuestadas, representa la causa principal de la desarticulación entre el sector educativo y el sector productivo. Por esta razón se hace fundamental la implementación de estrategias y acciones lideradas por el gobierno y los actores interesados, que permitan llenar los vacíos existentes en cuanto a este tipo de formación.

This research presents the most significant results obtained in a comparative study about the offers the professional technique and technological programs of 10 Institutes of Collegue Education, within which the SENA (spanish; Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje) is included, and demand of the human talent of the productive sector according with 18 asociations and the Work Observatories of IMEBÚ and “ADEL Metropolitana”, that exists in Bucaramanga and its Influenced Area until December 31st of 2007; with the objetive of evaluate the pertinence of the offered programs and propose actions aimed to the articulation of the educative and productive environments. The results obtained through the study reflects the necessity of human talent with professional technique and technological education in Bucaramanga and its Influenced Area, also was observed a good future for the people that have this profile. However, the ignorance of the Institutions that answered the survey about the real demand of the business sector, represents the main cause of the disarticulation between the educational and the productive sector. For this reason it is important to implement some strategies and actions leaded by the government and the interested groups that let fill all empty concerning this kind of education.
