Características del consultor terapéutico desde el enfoque sistemático

Abstract

Dentro de la consultoría terapéutica uno de los factores más importantes es el rol del profesional como orientador del proceso. Para que esta orientación resulte efectiva es necesario que el profesional cuente con habilidades que le permitan atender de forma adecuada y ética las demandas y problemas de los consultores. Desde el enfoque sistémico, se ofrecen técnicas y elementos teóricos que facilitan al profesional llevar a cabo procesos de consultoría exitosos. En la presente monografía se describen las habilidades y características que debe tener el consultor terapéutico desde el enfoque sistémico. Se hace un recorrido por las diferentes escuelas del pensamiento sistémico y se resaltan aquellos aspectos que resultan fundamentales en el proceso terapéutico. Adicionalmente, se analiza la relación existente entre la consejería pastoral y la consejería terapéutica y cómo la mutua colaboración entre ambas instancias puede resultar beneficioso para la orientación de los consultantes.

Within the therapeutic consulting, one of the most important factors is the role of the professional as counselor for the process. To provide this guidance for effective it is necessary to have professional skills that enable it to respond properly and ethical demands and problems of the consultants. From a systemic perspective, techniques are available and theoretical elements that facilitate professional carry out successful consulting processes. This monograph describes the skills and characteristics that must have the therapeutic consultant from a systemic perspective. It is made a tour of different schools of systemic thought and highlighted those aspects, which are essential in the therapeutic process. Additionally, it analyses the existing relationship between the pastoral counseling and the therapeutic counseling and mutual collaboration between both entities can be beneficial for the orientation of the consultants.
