Factores que influyen en la Adopción de las TIC por parte de Universidades desde la Dimensión Infraestructura Tecnológica

Abstract

Dada la importancia que han tomado las tecnologías de información y comunicación (TIC) en la educación y en el desarrollo del aprendizaje de los estudiantes, se realizó este proyecto en donde se analizan los factores que influyen en la adopción de las TIC por parte de las universidades, desde la dimensión infraestructura tecnológica. Para este estudio fue necesario realizar una revisión teórica conceptual de los últimos 10 años, donde se utilizaron diversas fuentes de investigación: Artículos, revistas, libros y demás material presente en la web. La información recolectada fue unificada y analizada. A través de éste aspecto se establece que los factores influyentes en la dimensión infraestructura tecnológica son: Personal, Infraestructura y Gestión Estratégica, factores que a su vez se dividieron en sub-factores, el primer grupo se compone de gestión de TI (soporte técnico) y usuario: alfabetización (docente), el segundo grupo se compone de hardware, software y redes, finalmente el tercer y último factor se compone de prevención tecnológica y mejoramiento tecnológico. Due to the importance that the information and communication technologies (ICT) have taken in Education and the development of student learning, this project was conducted looking for analyzing the factors influencing the adoption of ICT by the universities, from the technological infrastructure dimension. For this study it was necessary to perform a conceptual theoretical review of the past 10 years, the use of diverse research sources such as: articles, magazines, books and other materials on the web. The information collected was unified and analyzed. Through this aspect was established that the factors influencing technological infrastructure dimension are: Personnel, Infrastructure and Strategic Management, factors which in turn are divided into subfactors, the first group consists of IT management (technical support) and user: literacy (teacher), the second group consists of hardware, software and networks, finally the third and final factor is made up of technological prevention and technological upgrading.
